Senco Gold and Diamonds engages with couples and brides-to-be with ‘Dulhan Diaries’

Senco Gold and Diamonds was recently part of a high tea event representing the digital series ‘Dulhan Diaries’, which sought to create mental and physical health awareness for brides-to-be and married couples, which is a very relevant audience for the brand.

Talking about the association, Joita Sen, Director, Senco Gold & Diamonds, said, “For 50 years, Senco Gold and Diamonds has been serving women and has created an array of solutions for hassle-free investment in jewellery as an asset, popularly called ‘Streedhan’. Senco believes in creating products that are for every price-point, alongside offering options for planned buying and digital gold, considering how important weddings are in Indian culture. This is also the reason why we took the opportunity to associate with Dulhan Diaries. This series is for all to-be-brides and newly-weds, to discuss solutions on various topics like health, mental health, finances, legal rights and many other things backed by professional experts in their respective fields.”

Dulhan Diaries, partnered by Senco Gold & Diamonds, was initiated to celebrate the fun and colours of not just the wedding but to highlight the importance of certain aspects that remain vital for consideration even after it. Getting married is beautiful but staying happily married is the ambition – that is what inspired the event. From April, Dulhan Diaries will be an all-new digital show too.

The event took place earlier this month at Pride Plaza, Kolkata and it was attended by couples who are engaged and getting married soon, as well as married couples, including those celebrating their togetherness for as many as 25+ years and still going strong. The purpose of the evening was to open a window to interact and spread awareness about mental health and wellbeing that contribute to a good marriage. Industry and subject matter experts together provided a comprehensive platform for discussions that are much needed for young brides. Besides Joita Sen, the interactive high tea session was attended by celebrity couple Mithu and Sabyasachi Chakrabarty and eminent physicians and mental health experts, legal experts and content creator Roopsha Dasguupta, founding partner of OOPSROOPS. The event was supported by Kotak Mahindra Bank.
