As India celebrated the patriotic occasion of Republic Day on 26th January 2023, Ratnalaya jewellers was honored to give back to the community by organizing a charity event. The brand was privileged to have Padma Shri Sudha Varghese Ma’am, who dedicated the last 40 years to transforming the lives of the underprivileged, as their chief guest to hoist the National Flag. Her journey of selfless service is truly inspiring and her dedication and commitment humbled the brand.

On this special day, Ratnalaya Jewellers, who run a charitable trust known as Ratnalaya Charitable Trust, distributed snacks to underprivileged children in the area as a symbol of appreciation for their resilience and strength. Mr. Saket Keshri, Managing Director of Ratnalaya Jewellers, said, “We believe that it is not only important to focus on material wealth but also to give back to those who are less fortunate. These children may not have the same opportunities as others, but they still deserve to be treated with love and kindness.”

The event was a huge success, with many children and their families coming out to receive the snacks. Seeing the smiles on their faces and the gratitude in their eyes was truly heart-warming for the board members as well as the staff of the jewellery brand.

Mr. Keshri added, “We extend a special ‘thank you’ to all the volunteers who helped make this event possible. Your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for your support. As a jewellery brand, we are proud to be able to contribute to the community in this way and we will continue to look for ways to give back and make a positive impact in the lives of those around us.”

The brand hopes that this step will inspire others to think about ways they can give back to their communities, no matter how small the gesture may be.

Mr. Keshri said, “As a brand, it is our responsibility to take care of our employees, customers, and give back to the society in whichever way we can. As a good business, it is important for us to generate profits but it is even more important to add value in the lives of the underprivileged.”
